I'd say go a little slower than you would on other woods , my first one blew up , about five inches to go to reach my draw length and it blew . I have one that I've shot but because its so easy to ding and scratch I'm going to back it with something , I've got a little more to do on it and shoot it some more befor I do . I took it real slow and if I so much as thought I was getting in a hurry I put it down for a day or two before going back to it .
