thanks Bryce..trying to get to the classic ..if i can hold off working this stave ,will be using it in the build off...but im staring at it everyday..and nice to be able to be here...for as long as it lasts!   thanks Jordan for all your help,,your a peach!!!   and a good friend!!!

Last week I received a box in the mail from Gus. When I let him know it was here he asked about the second box.  :-\ Well, it still hasn't got here yet. I guess a postal worker somewhere between Houston and here is enjoying whatever it is.  >:(
 Anyway, inside the first box was a very cool, hand carved osage arrow wrench which I will use often and a 91", yes I said 91" dried red tail boa skin. This thing is incredibly beautiful. I'll save it for a very special project. Here are a few pics...

received my gift from JW and I'm stoked, got a cool jar of black hills gold, some of JW's honey, a sweet bow sock, a complete fire starting kit a couple of bees wax candles, and that awesome tool box that I will be filling with my bow building tools, that is an actual arrow shaft and trade point inletted in the side, and very well done, my wife actually said " this is the coolest gift you have gotten in the exchange" and I agree, thank you JW all items will be well used , Bub

I have no idea when i got mine, but i did.  I found a package from Matt G under my front deck.  A little wet from the rain we got several days ago.  Luckily the arrows and broadhead knife look untouched.  Thanks Matt.  They look great.  I will put up a pic later today.

USPS finally came through for me and delivered a very cool walking stick from Gus. It fits me perfectly and has cool turquoise inlays, especially my initials and Gus' signature. Very interesting tip that should give good traction on almost any surface. Here are a few pics...

Sweet stick.  Love the inlay.  Is that the kind of tip that screws off so a rubber end, for indoor use, can be screwed on?
