Sweet looking bow Pappy.  Do you use a form for flipping the tips or just over your knee.  The reason I ask is I'm going to try it for the first time hopefully this weekend.

I know that bow is smooth and easy. It shoots hard to. Pappy let us shoot it when it was finished. Great bow Pappy. One of those big slickheads better not get to close.

Glenn R, Dry heat on dry wood. Osage works well with dry heat. I coat with oil first as not to scorch but it is not necessary.

Thanks guys I appreshate it a lot.Yes I use dry heat and a short form to bend them.If I can find it I will post a picture of the form.I found them,the first ones are for normal straightening and backset
the others are for the tips,depending on how much you want.

Glad you posted them Pappy, I know what I'm gonna get busy on when during the off time. Got a osage stave that's deflexed, gonna try and reflex the tips - aughta come out pretty cool if it don't break....
