I like the wraps that many of you guys have around your limbs, whether they are by themselves or butted up to a snakeskin. What materials do you use?

Any thin cord or string will work.
My favorite is buttonhole silk.

Yeah, silk seems to be the best thread for a wrap. I haven't been all that happy with my other experiments.

I have some rawhide....I was thinking of dying it with some polmagranite juice.

I assume the silk is just glued on? Maybe overlapped to hide the seem?

Sinew for me although I've use silk tread before too. You can dye, stain or paint sinew any color you like.

I've used art sinew, polyester cotton seeing thread, but I like silk thread the best

I have use thin leather before. Has to be like very small cordage to look good though.
