Diesel and Stetsons Christmas bows
« on: December 08, 2013, 04:41:27 pm »
ok, as most of you know, I've desperately been trying to get these two done.  I am currently working on another one in Vine Maple from Echo Archery.  THANKS CARSON!!!!

The first is a 58" nth, 20lb @ 22",Hickory backed, ERC that started out as a bow for myself, then after a mishap with a bandsaw, became one for my grandson Stetson.

The next is a linen backed hickory board bow, 46" nth, 18lbs @ 18", for my 4 yr old grandson Diesel, The first one broke, and as you can see, this one will hold together, in the full draw, its WAY overdraw.  Real snappy little shooter.  Kind of surprised how quick it is.

Let me know what you think...... the grandkids are gonna love them.
In His grip,
Smallpatch

Good job!
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

It is going to be a Merry Christmas for your grandsons.  Nice work Dane.  I look forward to seeing how that vine maple turns out.

Those are beautiful.

I've developed a phobia of the bandsaw.  Its like a viper that strikes when I least expect it.

Well done!
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?
