Great buck Eddie!  Glad you got one and got the meat!  Looking forward to hearing the story from you.

That's a dandy Eddie!

I went into the woods today carrying a KHalverson knife AND tomahawk.  I wore a stocking cap and it was 19 degrees outside.  How come I didn't get a buck like that?

Oh yeah, because I spooked 15 different does in the course of the stalking.  That's my new NDN name, Doe Spooker.

Nice job on a nice buck, Eddie.  Hope you are enjoying your little vacation at home before you gotta run off again.  I'm already scouting for next spring's turkey hunt for ya!

That is a nice one Eddie.  I don't think you are a stranger to cold.  Weren't you in northern Alberta a few years ago...in the winter?

Thanks, Fellas. Marc, yea I work in Alberta quite a bit in the Winter. The last trip it was -40 and two weeks after that I was  in Flim Flom, Manitoba where I got frost bite on two toes working in knee deep slush.
