I got an e/m from a fellow in Oregon looking for somebody local to take a bow building course with, he's an older fellow.  Is there anyone here?

I'm in Eugene, we have a bow building class going at UO Craft Center every term.  The instructor isn't very great though  :-\

    There are quite a few builders and tinkerers in the Portland area.  We also have John Strunk on the coast.  He has two-day session that usually ends with a shootable bow.

Send him my way, we have a pretty large group of bowyers on the west side that get together regularly. If he ends up living on the East side I'll send him over to Keenan.

    I just dropped him an email with the contact information.  Is Matty  the person that Marc is referencing?  Hopefully, we will hear from him.  Always looking for new people to carry the logs out of the woods ;)
