Primitive arrow target???

I have been working on my knapping for a while now and am now starting to haft my points. Was wondering once I have points on my arrows what to use for a target to check flight? Any suggestions?

I use a feed sack stuffed with plastic bags... Brian

An old foam rubber sofa cushion works pretty good.

Put cardboard between the cushions if you need to slow it down more.

Thanks alot guys. I've been using the fees bags for practice tips. Just thought that with the knapped heads that the arrow would just fly right through.

I pack it purty tight with wallyworld type plastic bags.. also my target is hanging from the top so it swings and absorbs some energy i think. Usually my tips go all the way thru but not the whole arrow. On occasion the tip dont clear the bag so i push it on thru...I never pull it out..anymore, lol.. No fun tryin to find your arrowhead in a pile of plastic, lol. Auggie keeps me supplied in rabbit feed sacks. Theres always a pic of a nice fat bunny on the bag to aim at  ;D... Brian
