I was reading Carsons sig line
""The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompson"
It got me wondering how and in what order things got invented. We have the lyre, the fire bow and the bow and arrow, that I can think of. I would think that the fire bow came first, then someone accidently fired the fire stick across the campsite and the bow and arrow was born. The lyre could have come from either the fire bow or the bow and arrow. It's fun to run time backwards to try and figure out how things happened.
