So proud of my son.
« on: November 26, 2013, 12:23:22 am »
I open up a big box of chert and my son(hell be two on dec. 23) comes over and yells "rocks!". He starts picking them up and saying "cool! Rocks!" he was so excited to play with all of them. He then does the cutest thing ever, he picks up the biggest one hugs it, looks at me and says "happy!". My son is so awesome, I love him!!!

I have a nephew that's almost two and I know what you're feelin'.  He says uncle and steals my water bottle and drinks from it.  It's a fun age for sure!
Florida to Kwajalein to Turkey and back in Florida again.  Good to be home but man was that an adventure!

I was taking care of my great grandson last year visiting Cannonsburg Villiage in Murphysboro. I had been picking up rocks from the gravel drive every time we went there to see how they flaked. Well about the 4th or 5th visit he picks up two rocks and imitates what I was doing trying to get some flakes going. Well about 5 minutes into hitting rocks it went to hitting fingers. Ohh the look on his face was priceless. He was 15 months then.
