Ojibwa replica bow: somewhat

This is my version based on a bow I've been wanting to attempt for a while. The stave is buckthorn that was given to me by Cody the 'misslemaster', thanks Cody. I need to put a few more coats of finish on it but other than that I think I'm done. Got a dogleg top limb and the whole bow is a bit of a leaner to one side. Had quite a few heat correction attempts and between those and the side nocks I've gotten it straightened out as well as I'm able.
 Seems to correct as drawn and shoots alright so I'm calling it done.  Mass weight is real light and I'll weigh it again when I get back over to the shop but I think it was about 8 or 9oz. prior to putting finish on. Colors are ground earth pigments mixed in acrylic medium and finish is a couple coats of tru oil with a half dozen more coats to follow.

           47.5 # @ 24"

Very nice! No matter how many handle bows I build for some reason I keep going back to build bend in the handle bows. I think I just like the simplicity.

Thanks Eddie, yeah I'm drawn to the bendy handle bows too for the pure simple form of 'em.
