Fullfill'n a few promises / Thanks Don Carter and Dan Hamblin
« on: November 19, 2013, 03:47:24 pm »
Short bow/ short arrow.....quick, clean kill. The bow was gifted to me by Don Carter (44" Osage, 42# @ 24") and the arrow is black ash with what ya all call "bird points" it's shape is Cohickian and the stone is Keokuk. Through and through. Took a couple jumps, looked around like she was confused, and tipped over. So thank you for the Bow Don, And thanks for the head(s) and skinners Dan....and a special thanks Gun Doc got to use the pipe to send a little smoke north (pretty special) in the pictures the "dirty knives" the blue flap eagle case and knife and headed your way to say thanks to you.

Enjoy the pics fellas, it was a good time even after all these years and I hope it never goes away.

Nice kill my friend.  But be careful....................I might start keeping some of those small points for myself if you start having results like this.  Glad the skinner works.  Nothing works better in my book.  Talk to you soon.  Thanks for sharing.  Means alot to me to see results with something made by my hands.

Man that just makes my day. Tickled pink  ;D.
Those small points really do a good job.
I can see a lot of good eating and project coming out of that.

Good job Rich.
