Well, I got a surprise the other day....Ol Pinecone floored me! He told me he sent a pair of billets.  I thought, "cool, what kind of wood is he challenging me to make a bow from."  I had just gotten home from visiting my ailing grandma and the little kids both threw up in the car (mom has no sense of how much sugar is in crap food). So I finally get done cleaning out the kids seats and van seats and throwing barf clothes in the washer, and get the kids out of the bath and settled in when I open this package and get completely blown away.  Thank you Bryce for the strong medicine.  You are a great bowyer and friend.

The full draw pics arent that great, but I thought they were pretty good for my little bow to have taken, so here they are:

"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

Carson, what do you think?  Should we keep him?  I think Oregon doesn't just have the best wood.
I know you'll enjoy that bow as much as I enjoy mine.   :)

Hey, don't be Jealous Weylin  ;)

Dave, I guess we could make a little place for him in the back ;D

Pearl, I guess everyone knew but me!  I don't know about deserving it, but I will take it!

Thanks again Bryce.  I love the fact she is a takedown too.
