Should I still aim for the 5 or 6" or do I take into account the deflex

R/D bows will like a higher brace often. Don't settle on a number. Shoot the bow from 5"-7" and when it shoots best, that's your brace height.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Thanks pearly, I've been shooting in the pipe bow. It's a rocket( all I can compare to is my other self bow and my glass take down). Once she's all done ill post some pics. The veg ivory tips are sweet. Gotta give her some more coats of poly and a grip and wedge. Thanks again

I agree with Pearly I prefer about 6 1/2 with most R/d bows but you need to find the sweet spot.

No matter your experience level, a proper brace height is easy to hear and feel, you'll know when your there.
