Knapping texas
« on: November 09, 2013, 10:44:27 pm »
Just started knapping about 3 weeks ago, why does it have to be so addicting? Anyways trying to figure out if there's any knapp-ins in the near future somewhere in texas. Also jackcraft, I loved your videos. Watched the entire beginner series, and learned a crap ton!

Where abouts are you located Ink?

There may be a nice Tight little Knapp In coming up in the next few months.
If Mr George sees this he may have a better idea of when and where.

I'm located on the west side of Houston.

Yeah, George is the man.  He'll get somethin' going.  No pressure.  >:D

Glad you like the videos, Ink.  Is that ink as in tattoos?

I'm in Midland.

Gus I'm in college station about an hour and a half from Houston taking 290. I live close to 4dog.

Yeah that's ink as in ironic cause I have no tattoos  :P. Just a forum name I've used for years. 7 1/2 hours to midland......sucks!

If you guys get any dates for the knapp ins, let me know so I can try to make it.

Sterling a 3 hour drives not to bad. I got an upcoming vacation late in December. I would consider heading down there if you decide to have another knap in.

Will more than likely be just a one day event for me. Have a few friends that might want to go as well. Need to take a good look at my schedule and see when I have open. I know the last week in December I'll have ample time. Course just about any Saturday could work too.

Good Deal Ink,

The past two years the Knapp In that George puts together was in the end of February to early April time frame.

Victoria ain't that Fer a piece to drive.
I would love to come down and sit with y'all if I can swing it...
The end of December is usually busy for us here, but it's not inconceivable...

:)

Cool Gus, I'll need to talk to 4dog and see if he would want to go as well. Probably gonna car pool with him if he decides he's got time. I'll post here again once I talk to him.

Hey Sterling,

That would be cool,  and very Gracious of you.

Been a while since I've been to Victoria proper.
Lived in Mission Valley for about a year in my youth.
Used to Bow hunt and fish Colleto Creek.
Long before the reservoir was built.
