Keith #4

Was hunting the other morning. The weather was cold and the rut is just starting. I saw 19 deer this morning. Had 8 deer come running up the hill and stopped all around my stand. Shot this 100 lb + doe at 3 yd. She ran about 60 yd and fell. I did not know there was a 8 pt buck with them until he went to look at where she fell. The buck came up the hill and got 15 yd. behind me. I wanted to get a shot at him, while waiting on him two more does gave me 5 and 6 yd. shots. Didn't take them because I wanted a shot at the buck. They all left out behind me and I got no shot. All in all it was a very good morning of hunting. Used the new iron wood bow with 160 ace.

Nice, Kieth. You must have them corraled up.

Wheeeoo....Your the deer treminator.Congrats.Good population of deer around you I'd say.
I have a friend who hunts the suburbs with a permit in Des Moines,Iowa and he shoots 8 to 10 deer a year with his long bow too.Mostly does.He choked once though on a very nice buck.
