MAN,that is a great looking stick...6-7 heat treatings that must of been a wild one...did you find a stave that long...you did great weylin..your freind will love it...john

Blacktail, it was a deceptively wild stave. It was a little bit off in too many directions and it didn't really want to be tamed. Earlier this year Bryce took DanK and I cutting vine maple and he took us to his super secret spot where we cut some whoppers. I've got some really fat, long vine maple ready to use. It's pretty exciting. I'm brushing off another piece from this haul tonight that I'm going to use for my christmas trade bow. It's a shorter one (60") and I'm thinking about doing a bend through the handle.
