Sneak peek at latest bow (full draw pic added}
« on: October 20, 2013, 08:57:12 pm »
My camera woman was busy roasting a chicken and making a salad in the kitchen and couldn't get outside to take the full draw pic for me before dark so heres a preview. Hopefully tomorrow night I'll be able to post more.

Does the handle work on this bow?

Handle moves a little approaching full draw Steve. Had a natural set back at the handle that you can see from the braced photo. The thickness of the handle is only a little wider than the limbs at the fades, belly side of handle is built up with thick cork under the grip wrap.

Thanks guys I'll get the full draw up tomorrow.
Yeah Rich I'm headed toward the darkside alright and I'll let you guys in on my motivation for making this bow. You see I hunt on public land and opening day while I was standing among 10 wheelie bow guys, all of 'em dressed in the same camo head to toe and all with the latest in high tech bows and all looking at me suspiciously I had a thought.
The next bow I make would be even more primitive looking than the osage selfbow I was holding at the time. You see I'm a sick s.o.b. in this respect and I get a kick out of bucking their trend. ;D ;D ;D
