String Choice

Do most of you prefer Flemish twist or Endless loop..?
Does endless loop make more noise.?
Which one stretches less..?

I like flemish twist, and i like to use D97 so it barely stretches, I've heard flemish is faster than endless.

I started out making endless loop strings but once I learned how to make Flemish, that's all that I have used since.  I'm not sure if there is any advantages between the two but its quicker for me to make a Flemish.  I use FF

I have only made flemish twist strings so I have no idea about endless but flemish is real easy to make with a jig. dialing in brace height and adding silencers is a breeze as well. I serve my loops and about 3 - 5 inches down

I use Flemish twist and have for many years along with B-50 string. Just made one up today for my little sinew backed recurve.

I use b50 Flemish twist. It is not as fast as endless but more comfortable and quiet

Flemish and B50 here too. Other end is a bowyers knot.
Not been making strings for long so its the only thing I have tried and works well, not jigs needed and only take 10 minutes.

I use both ,depending on the bow.
But i prefer flemish because its easier to make and is less noisy on recuved bows.
The downside with it is that with some materials you need to make the tapering from the loop longer to avoid creeping,in particular on thin strings.

I actually just learned how to make an endless loop string and i personally like them much better. Some of my flemish strings would start to untwist at the loops on me but with endless loop i dont experience this. I also find them to be much quieter and easier to make.
