That is an Awesome bow. Dang....  Very nice.
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

that looks really cool, love the skins. that is a big "punkin" in the pic. I bet this thing really shoots well. I was at camp this season with a friend of mine that just bought a laminated glass bow from a well known bowyer, it was 50# @ 28". the bow you gave me was around 53#, it shot better than his $800 glass bow, he was suprised, and somewhat disappointed in his. you do good work, keep it up.

Would you be able to go in to a bit more detail regarding the tillering of the dished belly?  Do you only tiller using the curved scraper in the middle, creating more and more of a dish as you tiller? Or do you create the amount of "dish" you want in the beginning and reduce wood from the whole belly, both from the center of the dip and from the sides keeping the shape consistent?

Oh, and awesome bow.  :).

Heavens to Murgatroyd!!!

This Bow looks like its going a Hundred Miles An Hour, even when it's sitting still.

Blackhawk, your progression with the Molly design is stunning.
You had me at Three Eyed Molly.
But This Bow is Something Else.

I love the way the limbs transition to levers...
And your finish work on this bow gives it an Unreal Quality that is simply Outstanding!

This has to be my favorite bow to date just from a cosmetic standpoint.  She sure is purty.  What's the odds of it making it to Moontree?  I'd like to see it in person.

bubbles I thought saying I used a radius edged scraper was pretty self explanantory  :-\ ... I was just careful to maintain an even sided to side thickness is all...if you scrape long enough with one your belly will eventually turn concave...pretty simple stuff  ::) thanks  ;)

lol gus.. thanks  ;)

greg not sure on that one yet...that's a ways off  ???  8)  thanks tho.....ill for sure be at the classic tho  ;) cant miss that

Guy I don't know if I can make a better selfbow honestly  ???   ....ill try tho  ;) ..im sure youll be seeing it next time we see each other

I would rather eat my words, than believe that you won't do a better job !
Find that one strait no fun piece of hedge you have stashed away so the character does not interrupt your thoughts and poor all you have learned so far into it !!
Then I will cast a vote for BOM !
After that you can go back to playing with the fun stuff and I will fade off the scene !
Hope we see each other soon !

Yeah, I was curious if there was anything else involved. its as simple as using a the radius scraper Instead of a flat one!  Combined with lots of skill and experience of course. :)
