Another inspiring Bow...... I'm Still waiting on my next two staves to get here to Mexico... And would love to try crank out something similar... i'm thinking i'll be going for a Holmegaard and a Flatbow both around 60#@26" for hunting.......

Would love to get your dimensions for that one and stretch em out a bit to get something close to 66"ntn pulling a similar weight...... How smooth is that bow in terms of quietness and such....

Again compliments on another inspiring piece of functional art...... a true role model to the bow making community.....

What kind of game are you looking to nail with that baby?

Sweet looking lines on that one Chris.Nice execution of a bendy handled molly recurve.Copperheads and osage go together like bacon & eggs.Too bad their so expensive if you don't live in an area that has em.Looks like you had just enough length.

Thanks for all the kudos gentlemen...means a lot to me  :D

Capt...for your stats I'd go 62" ntn...for starting layout make the fades 1 3/4"+ parallel for 6" then a subtle concave taper to 1" wide towards the start of your levers..then make the levers 3/4"+ wide paralell for starters,and you can reduce em down after you string it and know where your string lies...and make your levers 10" long.....and that's just simple layman's terms..I'm not gonna get into the nitty gritty details here...in terms of smoothness and quiteness these bows are hard to beat in that category if made right...

Seminolewind it came from one big a$$ snake cut in half so no matching required ;)

Oh..almost forgot...and for those that want to see the belly I'll try to get some pics up of that later today if I can...I had some serious network problems yesterday trying to post it..so hopefully I don't run into the same issues again today
