"Scorpios Sting"....belly pics added pg. 5
« on: October 20, 2013, 12:26:56 pm »
Heres an osage selfbow adorned with copperhead snake skins that was made with the intent to hunt...the osage came from the same dead standing tree that three eyed and two eyed molly came from(and I have one stave left from it)...this stave had a high crown to it,and to maintain width I made the belly concave...everything was done in moderation(IMO),to the subtle induced deflexed handle,to the subtle flipped levers, and a front profile in which the shoulders to the levers are almost unnoticeable...it has very graceful appealing lines any which way you look at it...it turned out 54"ntn...58@26"...13.7 ounces before I applied the oil and handle wraps, which is hemp wrapped with a leather grip stitched over the top...jicarillo tip overlays...1 1/4" resting reflex...and yeah this bow thumps and shoots as good or better than it looks  8) thanks for viewing  :D

I like it, Chris. Something about copperskin bows.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

In archery when things look right they normally are....
And there is nothing wrong about that!

Amazing bow BH.  She turned out sweet.  Looks like you are drawing it with your mouth.

Are you entering it in the BOM?
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left
