Unbacked juniper with character
« on: October 13, 2013, 10:06:08 pm »
Simple bow , roughly 50#@27" , 53"ntn, took to much set at first bacause it's still a little green added Some reflex to the tips to get it back to acceptable.

Looks pretty cool.  Are you going to stain and finish it?

probably taking set from the excessive draw length for 53" and a rigid handle, put some sinew on it and increase the performance. cool bow.

Its going to take much more set when you start drawing it to 27" regularly.  No, Im not picking on you or being a jerk. I just like to see what's advertised is all. :)

Sorry that was a typo I was having some trouble posting and had to rewright the post a couple times  must of put down 27 because that's my usual draw length should say 26" ( the draw weight is a guess on my part it probably closer to 48# I just rounded it off) looks like it's only at 25 in the pic

I'll have to pass on sinewing this one my line of bows in need of sinew is getting long

No  stain on this one
