Found a Howard Hill bow

So I went down to a local archery shop the other day and found all all bamboo bow for sale on the rack. It cought my attention becaused it was the only bow braced sitting on the rack. On the bow it had the name Howard Hill on it and on the side it had written on it   For: ( somebodys name that escapes me, probably the guy it was made for ). I left it sitting there because I dint have the about 500 bucks for it. Myabe I will go take a pic of it and post here if anybody is interested.

That bow shouldn't be braced. It probably was misused and has lots of set.
Pics would be cool though.  ;)

I really hope the unbrace it after store hours. I did pick it up and pull on it though, and it for sure has a draw weight near 60# probably. From the early draw weight it had I hope it doesnt have any set...

Many people don't realize that Hill made bamboo laminates 1st. The bows use in the Erol Flynn version of Robin Hood were of this type. Pics would be awesome! I have downloaded all I could find online years ago when I made a bamboo redoak lam in the early Hill style. I also agree that it should be unstrung as this would be a serious bow collector's gem. :P
