Thanks again guys. Gus, for the stingray I used contact cement to hold it in place, and then punched the holes using a 4-prong angled lacing chisel from Tandy (punching through both layers at the same time). As the name implies, the tool is actually for lacing, so the holes it makes are actually oversized for this type of stitching. That's one more area for me to improve my work - use a proper sized awl and hand-punch each hole... but that sounds like an awful lot of work

Beautiful! You should hook up with the Cowboy shooters association, and do custom wrist cuffs, and belts, etc.
