Meet, May
« on: October 10, 2013, 09:50:06 pm »
I was given a small amount of money when my great grandmother May died this spring, and I wanted to do something meaningful with it. So I called Echo Archery and picked out these two billets that were cut in February of 1980. The upper limb was de-flexed right out of the fade, and re-flexed from mid limb out. The lower limb was dead straight.
It is 72" tip to tip pulling 60#@29". Cow horn overlays and arrow pass.
I am very happy with how this turned out, and as always please  feel free to give me some feedback.

Thats one gorgeous looking longbow, shape, finish, handle, tips and arrow pass all top notch Steelslinger. I'm sure your great grandmother would be pleased with the tribute to her.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

You nailed it Brad!  That is a beautiful bow.  Well done sir, well done.  8)
