Just have to post a link to some pictures and videos of this years bowyers camp
at Skurven, Helgøya Island, Lake Mjøsa, Norway:
We were 15 people all in all, 3 guests from Finland, and the rest from all over Norway.
Nidrinr had made a price holmegaard bow, that went to the person who shot longest with
a primitive arrow made only from materials found on the island.
Our Finnish friend Mikke won it with a beautiful stoneage arrow made from a sapling,
seagull feathers, knapped arrowhead, and all fastened with pine resin, coal & blood secured with nettle string.
Would you believe he shoot over 200 metres with that thing?
