I don't know about flake over grind, I am at the back of the line when it comes to knapping. I have a lot of interest and plan on learning though. The hut thing does sound nice

I tried hard last week on vacation and hunted 5 days straight and seen lots of deer but none close enough
... Congrats on your deer at 4 yds! The closest I got was around 23yds. and then a buck ran her off. But I won't stop trying.
