Hi --
I am new to the site after lurking for sometime. I do not have a bow yet and am trying to learn as much as possible before deciding whether to first purchase a bow so that I have something to shoot while I then make a bow, or instead, to skip the purchase and go straight to making a bow with the hope that it will be a shooter / keeper.
I am building up my library on bow making and archery hunting. However, I have not yet found a really good guide to field game butchering and rendering. What books or guides can you recommend? I recently became aware of the "gutless" field butchering but have concerns about waste and recognize the method is leaving some good parts behind. Any book recommendations you can make would be appreciated.
I hope to be able to contribute meaningful posts in the future.
Thank you,
Jethro
