I know this is Michigan but,
« on: September 13, 2013, 01:55:02 pm »
I realize there are lots of places that get hotter than Michigan and lots of places that get colder than Michigan, but... two days ago it was 94 degrees here.  Today it is 54 degrees and frost is predicted for tonight.  I have a fire in the wood stove.  Guess fall has arrived.

Awesome isn't it Darryl?!?!

Im ready for some serious tree stand time myself.

Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

I'm ready for fall. Getting out of work around 8 this morning and stepping out into the cool, brisk morning air was refreshing to say the least. I'm about 1 shade from albino and never was a fan of the summer heat. I remember being a kid on those sticky summer days growing up and getting horrible blisters from running around the neighborhood shirtless, getting sunburnt so bad it would put me out for a week.

I grew up in Plainwell, MI. For you non Michiganders that's on US131 between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. We would get 6-10' of snow per year. Rich AKA half eye lives up in old Fred Bear territory and he gets 20' plus of snow every year. '=feet not inches, but you knew that. And 20 below zero? That's why I moved to Florida.

Hope you get to do some site seeing Eddie. Never been to Isreal but would like to go.

BTW Mr. Halverson. Beautiful tomahawk Spike Head I got in the mail today. I'm looking forward to crafting the handle. You could split small wood with that on a FREEZING night in Michigan but I won't.

I was at ElmHall one year and it was 95 and humity 100 I think. A storm came off Lake MI. and in a couple of hours you could see your breath, and I thought the weather changed fast in Tennessee. :o Eddie keep you head down. :) I would like to go to Israel also, just not right now.  ;) :) :)
