a battle over
« on: September 16, 2013, 08:56:11 am »
my mother finished her bout with dementia last week. My brother and myself built her a coffin and it looked good. We had a nice farewell with lots of friends and family.I can't say enough good things about the Hospice facilities and staff. My heart goes out to anyone that has or had to deal with this horrible disease

My condolences I'm sure she has gone on to a much better place. Ron
If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

Roger, I'm very sorry to hear about your Mother. I know she's in a better place, I've been through it and it's never easy for the Family. I wish your Family well, my friend.

Ho Sir...

Please accept our deepest sympathy and prayers for you and your family.

I lost my Mom to COPD in 2007, after a terrible five year battle.
I still have difficulty with it, even knowing she's in a better place.

Hospice is a wonderful place, the people that work there are a special kind of people.

I am sure in some far corner of her mind she knew it was you when you visited.  What a wonderful and kind thing you and your brother did to create the fine woodwork to hold her earthly shell.  I would consider it a wonderful gift if someone did that for me.

Sorry for your loss Roger. It was good that you and your brother pitched in on a final project for your Mon at the end.
