Bear in mind all..i consider myself a relative newby when it comes to warbows..sure i have my plans but i am very respectful and mindful of what those before me and currently are acheiving.  there is so much to learn from a stick and a string..always learning something.

G'day...yes it will be my holiday of a lifetime. I plan to take part in the 1000 odd archer shoot at azincourt but wont be there for the long march.  I wont be bringing my weapons but have plenty of folk offered equipment.  i will just bring my dacks and cote hardie.

Are you not going then? It's a pilgrimage for anybody interested in warbows, and there won't be other chances like this one...

How could anybody not go?!

I'll be there Will, hopefully I can drag Mr.Delbow over the channel with me. He's still scarred from attending a previous "record attempt for massed archers" in Macclesfield......where apparently it pissed down all day and only 22 bods turned up! I hope this all goes as planned, I'm already making arrows for it! LoL

Good stuff! Have you already signed up and registered with Chris?  I think they're inundated at the moment so hopefully you got in there nice and early!

I need to start work on my period kit, I think finding appropriate medieval boots is going to be a challenge!  They have to withstand the 2 week walk, plus the mud and gravel of the field.  Blimey.

Hey Will, for the totally authentic look; remember to eat plenty of dodgy seafood, throw your boots away halfway through the march, roll your hose down to your knees and let nature take it's course while shooting  :o
