That's no problem Art, I like mine a little heavy, just throw on a field point, and hang it up. Glad you like it. BDan
PS. Art, I have a few of those heads that Matt sent DGF. If you want one I can send you one.

Glad they got there safe and sound, Ozzy and glad they fly well for you. That is the most important part of an arrow anyway.  ;)
I got home from work today to find a cardboard tube from Fred Arnold in my chair.  ;D  Inside were 2 well made Tonkin cane arows with selfnocks, turkey 2fletch and two different but very effective looking trade points. These arrows will certainly be a bonus to my collection and will make great hunting arrows. I haven't shot them yet but I know they will fly well.   8)
Thanks Fred! Unfortunately, Photobucket is messing with me again and I can't get the 3 pics I took to copy.   :-[

Glad you like the arrow, DGF!  I have a few more of those heads if anyone is interested.  They are pretty cool, to say the least.  Looks like an old B-(something or other) bomber.

Thanks for everyone posting and really making me sorry I didn't jump into this exchange.  I am in complete misery for not having a chance at any of these arrows.  Keep Posting!

I received a beautiful shoot arrow stained with natural pigments and mounted with a buffalo bone point from Dan K. Couldn't have been a better arrow to start my collection with as it's the first wooden shoot arrow and bone point that I've ever had. Dan sent an extra point for me to mount in case I decide to take game with it and break the first one. I'll try not to disappoint. Thanks Dan >>>Fred

Glad you like it Fred. A lot more fun to make a gift than for yourself that's for sure.

Cheers!
Dan

Okay, I got home ate last night and found a shipping tube awaiting my arrival.  My arrow(s) from Sadie Jane were here.  I just have one major problem with them.  I AM NOT WORTHY.  These are works of art.  Cane shafts, turkey feathers that are thread wrapped.  A beautiful bone head.  The other is just like the first except for target shooting with what looks like a nail head.  These will be hanging on the wall with my 78 year old Osage Selfbow.

I forgot to mention the self nocks.

Thank you so much Sadie.
