My Osage Snake Bow
« on: September 05, 2013, 12:52:13 am »

I'd like to show you guys my hunting bow I built for this season, 50@28, 58" n to n. Diamond back Water snake skins ( many thanks Gus). Rattan wrapped grip. The first time I shot this bow, I fell in love, it just shoots so good. I built a matched set of cane arrows for it and I expect to be sitting in a tree with it on Sep 28 which cant get here soon enough. >Dan

I also would like to thank Gordon, I used his method for applying snakeskins that he had in one of his build alongs and they came out flawless

Thats nice Tallpine, bow and arrows both. Looks great and also  puts the arrows right where you want em'.
Deadly combo there and I like that length and weight in a hunting bow. Nice indeed!
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Great bow. Nice solid finish job as well.
