This year I'm gonna hunt with a very special bow that was given to me a week ago by Cody, (misslemaster).
D/R Osage  56"ntn & 50# @ 26", super smooth drawing, whisper quiet release and perfect arrow flight.
Thanks again Cody, this bow is PERFECT my friend.

I usually end up huntin with 4 or 5 different bows throughout the year but I plan on stickin with my bubby bow this year till it makes meat. Got some poplar arrows in the works for it.

Man, you guys hunt with some pretty bows.  This one is hickory, 67 nock to nock, with a vegetable twine handle, pulling 60lbs @ 28".  It's a little longer than my hunting bow from last year, but flings a heavy arrow so straight and quiet, it gets the nod over the rest of my bows.  I do have a 58" cousin to it on stand by for ground blinds.

I was planning on using "bonne medecine 2"  ( a fine scalloped bow halfeye made me) to go round V with "the old girl".  However, much to my disappointment I found her rotting carcass down by the creek the last time I was home.  I guess blue tongue got her.  Whatever done that smart ol doe in, it wasn't me.  I freely admit defeat to a very worthy adversary. 
So this leaves me in a conundrum, I don't know which bow to hunt with now.  I have it narrowed down to three bows.  My turtle bow, which is anything but slow.  Ol' patch, a fine hhb takedown Soy made me.  Last but definitely not least, my pinecone bow.  I just can't decide!  Josh

Some fine looking hunting bows for sure!  I'm still tryna figure out if ima be able to get out there this season.  Everything is still kinda up in the air :-\

Barefoot is the way. Barefeet can be silent and virtually all shoes are bad for your biomechanics anyway.
This year i'll be doing some persistance hunting. As in running after a deer until it's body temperature rises enough to make it stop. So no bow to show.... ;)
