Rainbow Obsidian Point
« on: August 31, 2013, 03:45:49 pm »
Here's a rainbow obsidian point (7 1/2" x 2 1/4") I knapped earlier in the month while I was camping on the French Broad River near Asheville, NC. I bought the rock from Craig Ratzat (Neolithics) while I was at the North Georgia Knap-in in Cartersville, GA this past April. Rick B

Very nice! I have not gotten to something that big yet. In time I suppose.

Good work on that. I didn't know Craig sold that kind of rock, but I have bought lots of other stuff for him for workshops. Regardless, you did that rock right. I am sure you are happy.

That is a big ole blade nice work! I stopped by Craig's place near Joplin one time didn't have a dollar when I left. Man he's got a lot of nice stuff.
