Short ash D bow
« on: August 30, 2013, 10:22:04 pm »
So this is a bow that could be my first shipped bow, all my others being personal deliveries around town.

The stave started with some natural deflex at the bottom I elected to experiment with and leave stronger to let the top limb take set to match. I guess that sounds a little crazy and counter-intuitive, but I'll let the 50# @ 25" speak for itself.

Still some room in the tips to get to a longer draw length than my short arms can pull, I'll get her really finished when I know who's specs I'm going by.

And I'll get a haircut before my next post  ::)

Mollegabets all day long.
Might as well make them short, save some wood to keep warm.
