Thank you for the very nice comments, it is appreciated. All the way back to Dell's comment ya really should know that these little bows are great for bushwackin a deer at 15-20 yds and plenty of power for that purpose......the weakness is in the fact that they are no good if you want a lot of cast (overall downrange distance), at least with hunting weight arrows.

Thanks again for the nice words, just to clarify, these ultra-shorts are fun as all get out to shoot, and with a lot of practice good short range hunters.....they are not much good for other purposes. Personally, I've settled on bows ranging from about 45" to about 49/50 inches as best for me.

can start with a baby 35" stave a little after 7am and end up with a powerful short bow by 4 minutes to 4 in the afternoon of the same day.

Well if force times distance / 12 applies here you are looking at 62 ft lbs of energy there.  If it were a normal bow with 28 inch draw you would have 100 ft lbs. Going off th at math, your bow is equal to a 27# bow at 28 inches. 

Amazing what a low energy bow can do. If I recal a 30 # bow was used to take buffalo back in the more sophisticated days.
