bow boa (FINISHED PICS UP)

Well i was gonna make some kerf cut static recurves but i wimped out lol. Instead i went with a bendy handle recurve. I glued on some boa skins, hence the name, and im staining it black. These skins are really freaking thick. Shoots real fast and matches my arrows prefectly.  Around 60 to 65#  @ 27"
Ill finish her up tomorrow and post the finished pics.

I like what you've shown us so far...  :)

I have quite a few Red Tail skins waiting to go.
Prolly 15 or 20 bows worth.
Haven't gotten around to trying them yet.

Are you awake enough for photos yet?

Ive used rat snake copper heads and these boa skins are the hardest to put on and keep down. You have to use an ace bandage and wrap it really tight.
