Well we only stayed two days.  This is a migration route for muleys and even though I knew it was early I thought there'd be a few bucks in the area.  Apparently not.  We saw nothing and very little fresh sign.  It was hot and the bees were bad.  We had issues at home to deal with so we decided to bag it and start fresh somewhere else. 

here's what pics I got.  This would be a great area later in the year.  Didn't go home empty handed.

best part about muley hunting is the beautiful places they live. what state were you hunting?

That's some beautiful country!  Too bad about the lack of activity.  I've been out twice and haven't seen a thing either.  Going to try a different area this afternoon, maybe my luck will change.
