Made this one back in the 90's, she's been a faithful companion for years and I hope to introduce her to a Colorado elk in a couple of weeks.

You guys are too flattering, bub and Clint.

Im undecided yet. I have so many damn fine bows that have been given to me I don't know what to do. I doubt it will be with one of my own. Matter of fact the only thing of my own will be the arrows I make, of which the raw materials and points were gifted as well. Whatever I choose, It will be an effort from all my friends. That I do know!

Sweet set-ups, guys. Good luck to everyone. I'm off in a few hours to do some early season elk hunting.

Good luck Weylin. Pursuing elk with a primitive bow will be a hunting experience totally different from any you have had before. Enjoy the journey...

The wet footprint next to the bow was a nice touch!

I also like the low key camo effect you get from the plaid shirt.  If that photo was turned to black and white everyone would be amazed at how well your pattern gets broken up with simple plaid.  So long as you don't use any detergent with colorfast bleach (UV brighteners! GACK!) you are plenty good to go!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Nobody believes me, but this is Crazy Jane, and she graduates from carpet and mattress this year if I have anything to say about it!

Might as well make them short, save some wood to keep warm.
