China Berry

 Has anybody made a bow from China Berry.  a neighbor is going to cut a large one down was wondering if anyone has tried it, or am i the lucky soul.

I did as a kid but never anything good.  Understand it can be brittle.......but could be wrong.  It is in the mahogany family.

Someone on PA built a chinaberry bow a few years ago. Have you tried a search?

I just got 18 hits when I did a search for "Chinaberry". Some back in 2009.

Your right Pat . guess i was looking  in wrong  area. Im going to cut it and split into staves ,need to bulid about 10-15 young ladies bows. grandkids and friends. ha
