Arrow Exchange Teaser pics
« on: August 20, 2013, 09:58:07 am »
Hey guys, thought it might be fun to post pics of the arrows that are made for the exchange. Here's the one I made for my victim......er, recipient.

Specs: shaft is true dogwood shoot, bindings are whitetail deer back sinew, feathers are turkey secondary's and are 6" cut low in the Eastern woodland style, The head is Pedernales Chert in the Hopewell shape and set w/ spruce pitch. Overall length is 27 1/2" and overall weight is 652.2 grains. (told ya I make SAM's) hasn't been signed yet and should go out today. color is pigment mixed with fish-egg glue, the finish is pitch and grease, and will be top coated with mink oil after signing.

enjoy the pics, just couldn't help my bad self.

Sweet Rich
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Mighty Fine Rich! I like your style, everything you make is the real deal. It would be tough decision for me whether to hunt with it or hang it in the den to admire.

This arrow now sits in my quiver! Mail lady just dropped it off, and it's already been in flight. It shoots great, and looks even better!

Thanks again Rich!!!
