Hey guys, thought it might be fun to post pics of the arrows that are made for the exchange. Here's the one I made for my victim......er, recipient.
Specs: shaft is true dogwood shoot, bindings are whitetail deer back sinew, feathers are turkey secondary's and are 6" cut low in the Eastern woodland style, The head is Pedernales Chert in the Hopewell shape and set w/ spruce pitch. Overall length is 27 1/2" and overall weight is 652.2 grains. (told ya I make SAM's) hasn't been signed yet and should go out today. color is pigment mixed with fish-egg glue, the finish is pitch and grease, and will be top coated with mink oil after signing.
