2013 Trade Bow "Deer Hunter" Theme

Finally.  Man this was quite the challenge.   I was originally hoping to be done in the first month of this Trade since I knew my summer would be REALLY busy.  Well I ruined the first attempt AND the second then broke the third AND forth...... :o  I was beginning to think "Do I really know how to do this???"  I have to say my confidence as a bowyer has dropped quite a bit.....Good medcine I guess.

I finally succeeded.  I'm still not 100% satisfied but I managed to make a bow that I would really like to keep.  That was my goal.  I can honestly say I've done the very best I'm capable of with my current skills.  It's also one of the best shooters I've made which was another goal.  It has some flaws but I'm calling it done.   Hope my person likes it.

work of art. That is one to be proud of, both maker and recipient. Real fine tiller to boot.

Your finish work is simply amazing, you put a lot of visual beauty into your bows and I love them.  Your recipient will be elated to receive that.
