Lighted Nocks (PIC Heavy)

Not trying to open up a debate on the place lighted nocks have or dont have in bow-hunting...but I enjoyed shooting a couple of my buddies lighted nock arrows this evening after a day looking for bear and scouting for elk.  We pulled over to snap a photo of the sunset, and then Tyler wanted to show me how bright these lighted nocks really are.  Ended up with some cool photos.

Cool pictures. :) No debate here,to each their own.I have some friends that use them all the time,just to high for me and ant figured out how to put the on wood shafts  ;) :) :)

It is cool to see the arch that the arrow make with the picture.  Nice sunset too!

I think I might buy a couple and figure a way to adapt them to wood arrows (they look like they might fit right into a cane shaft).  I want utilize them for taking a closer look at arrow flight.

Amazing pics. What brand were y'all using? What's the cost per nock? I've considered getting a few for rabbit hunting. It's real brushy here and hard to find arrows after you take a shot at a rabbit..

Cool photos. When I was shooting compounds I used them on my aluminum and carbon arrows. They  were fun to use and helped find arrows after the shot as well as helped see shot placment during the shot from the stand.

Some varieties need a conductive insert at the base of the nock. Others could be used in carbon arrows with no sleeve or adapter. I could see how the later could be used in cane or bamboo with a little modification to the nock end of the shaft. I may have to try one for grins just for fun.

Thanks guys!  It was fun taking the pics and playing with different exposures.  I think you could get some really amazing photos if you set it up right. 

I can't recall the brand, but I will find out.  They look to be about $10 each!  Not cheap.

They were tail-light nocks from tgbarchery.  Much better price from these guys.  Only $5 /each if you buy a dozen.   I just might pick some up.
