Looking for black walnut stave
« on: July 27, 2013, 03:12:12 pm »
I am in need of a clean bw stave. I have lots of sinew and obsidian to trade.  Could even make a knapped knife.

Thanks

I think I have one. If I do it is well seasoned and I think pretty clean. It does still have the bark on it.

Let me check tomorrow to see just what I do have. A knapped head will work...and maybe a point or 2. I'll send you the stave and you decide what it is worth to you.  ;)

Good deal let me know. I am kinda partial to bw.  My favorite bow is made of it and I want to make another.

Sorry I didn't get back to you Tell. Yes, I do have one, well seasoned with the bark still on(most of it at least).
Send me your address and I'll get it out to you.
