first mollie (finally got a grip on it)

This is my first mollie, and boy is it fast. 55-60# @ 29"  the last 2" bend in the handle stlightly,  levers are 3/4" deep. I still need to add a leather grip but that has to wait till Thursday. Unfortunately this one isn't for me is for a guy at work. Ill add a fulldraw pic when i get home later.









The grip was built up with sheets of cork.

Could you explain what a "mollie" is? I'm assuming it's something to do with the narrow tips.

Mollie is short for mollegabet. The limbs are usually 60/40 60%working 40% stiff.

Dang, that's a pretty sweet bow! Mollies are not usually my first choice looks-wise, but this one is great, especially at full draw! How long is it?

Cool...is that a hickory board? How long is it? ....and a word of caution...try to make the transition of your fades a lil longer,with well rounded edges,and smoother into the handle if its bending some...short and sharp fades into a narrowed bending handle can sometimes break due to the grain running out there....ask me how I know  ::)  not saying its gonna break,but just a word of constructive criticism for the future...

I realalized after i cut the fades that i didnt really like it that much. I didnt know that about the fades into the handle, thanks for the heads up.
