Nice bow.
How was the difficulty level for the Mollie as apposed to a flat bow. The reason I ask is I have a board that I'm thinking Mollie. Thank you Ed

What kind of wood is it?  Mollies are a little harder cuz you have a short area under alot of stress. Which is why i heat treated the belly, to make it better in compression, only took 1/4" of set.  On a flat bow the stress is distributed accross the whole limb, making it  a better design for compression weak woods.

Bowman53; I have an oak board @ 60". Can you change the %, make the working limb a little longer and shorten the static? Ed

yeah you change the ratio but i would go with pyramid style bow instead, its a better design for red oak. 6" handle  and 2" wide fades to 1/2" tips. Bubby did a great board build along ill post it for you.

Thank you Bowman53; I am just about done with one like that. However I really like the table saw idea. I have been rasping a lot of wood away... Thanks again and great bow. Ed

your welcome, i wish i had a table to use like that too. i also do all wood removal by rasp, except the bow outline, that i do with a jigsaw.

Oh yeah, for sure. I even used that really thick leather you sent to make a hip quiver lol looks like crap but it turned outgreat functionality wise. Arrows are really quiet in there.
