i edited my #76 oak longbow, brought it down to #65. I am quite happy with it now. Added a copper arrow plate and an Osage tip overlay on the top nock. Also made an #83 oak longbow, 70" NTN... I actually weighed it on a friend's scale. its from an oak floor-board. Its a tad over 2" wide in the handle, about 1 1/8 thick at the handle, to 3/4 thick by 3/8 wide tips. it shoots good, mostly bends in the handle. it was an experimental lever bow... until i decided i liked how it shot. nearly flat at 20 yards. Paracord handle wrap keeps sliding! And finally, an Ash flatbow, my first with a narrow handle- only 7/8 wide! Limbs are 2" to about 1 3/4 mid limb, 1/4 inch tips. #35 at 26" I actually have a halfway decent fD pic- Mom took it for me! A bit of character....
