Im working on a hickory board bow and i started getting cracks on the side  of the limbs, length wise. I filled it with super glue but is this bow going to die? Its shooting really nice, i finished the tiller last night, i just need to shoot it in.

Cracks in boards are never good Jordan. Pull it on your tree 50 - 60 times.

methinks that that bow may explode. Maybe a shear fracture? If the board is edge-ringed... that might be a earlywood ring failing?

this happened with a red oak board.. but some superglue solved it, so i never did figure out what.

yeah longitudinal cracks on the edge grain are scary , I worry about it de lamming

Wrap that area with sinew or silk thread and saturate it with glue. You may still get 500-1000 shots from it, or you may not. If its 1/4 sawn and the crack is on the side that means its through the growth ring and not just a laminar separation.

Usually happens when the back edges aren't rounded enough'but this may not be the case.another option would be narrow the bow enough to get rid of the crack ,back it with something like maple and glue in some reflex to get back some weight.

Quartersawn / flat sawn /bias...whatever.......wood will split along the fibers. The wood doesn't know how it's been cut  ;) Go and split some firewood to prove it to yourself. Wood is made up of strong fibers stuck together with weak glue from whichever angle you look at it.
How was the moisture content? How much set has the bow got?

Consider the bow broken. Sooner than later, it will completely fail. Learn from it, and make another!
